Colloid scar treatment, removal, pictures

Almost every person once in my life, but got skin damage in the form of burns or cuts. So in place of these injuries, especially if they were deep always remain colloidal scars.

These scars always have obvious cosmetic defect, and not just in appearance but in the fact that they have the ability to grow over the edges of the wound, plus they look quite ugly.

The cause of

The reason for the development of colloid scars that reverses the process of skin regeneration, the so-called dysregenerative deep layers of the skin. As a result, the skin appears a defect that resembles a neoplasm in the form of the tumor. The defect is characterized by a smooth surface and a few rises to the level of the skin.

The main reason for the formation of such scar doctors believe a violation of the formation of connective tissue. In addition, if in the process of wound healing was not marked by inflammation, and no suppuration, after healing the scar is not so huge.

The appearance of such a scar may be bluish in color, it has sharply-defined edges that extend beyond edges of the scar and capture some of the healthy skin. Colloid scar is formed during several stages, and by the time it may take several months before it is fully formed.

Correction and deletion

The basis of correction and treatment colloidal scars is a need to make the defect almost invisible visually. You can use two approaches:

  1. Surgical, when is plastic surgery. Here fully or partially, depending on the location of the scar, excision of the colloid masses.
  2. Therapeutic when the skin without external interference is mitigated.

Important! The choice of method needs to recommend only the doctor alone, such decisions are not taken.

The method of treatment depends on:

  • The location of the scar.
  • Sizes of the colloidal cicatrix.
  • From the shape of the tumor.
  • From the age of the scar.

Regarding the age differentiation, it is possible to determine that the scars are brought either into the category of young, up to 5 years, or chronic. In the latter category gets the scar, which is more than 5 years.

Unfortunately, the colloidal nature of the scar and remains a mystery to scientists and doctors, and not fully understood. Still no answer why there are relapses even after complete removal of the colloid tumors. In addition, with age, its deletion more difficult. Thus, it is preferable in the treatment and correction is to use a holistic approach.

Define the main directions and groups that are currently used intreatment colloidal scars:

  • Therapy is based on drugs.
  • Physiotherapy approach.
  • Radiotherapy and radiotherapy.
  • Various cosmetic procedures that are also suitable for the correction.
  • The use of medications.

Medication

As the most popular and sought after drug therapy consists of several methods, each of which is unique:

  • Method of corticosteroids. Here at fabric colloid scar through injection is injected corticosteroids. As a result, the tissues decreases the production of collagen. The rate is calculated by the physician, and the interval between injections may be from one to one and a half months.
  • Interferon. Therapy with the use of this immunomodulator is performed in two stages. On the first interferon introduced in a day for 3 weeks, and the second – once for 14 days and the course lasts 3 months.

Important! We use a large assortment of drugs, the main effect of which is a depressing effect on the growth of connective tissue in the area of scar formation.

For these purposes, used tools such as Ronidase, Lidaza – enzymes that break down hyaluronic acid. The latter is a connecting component in the colloidal cicatrix. Treatment is several courses, each of which is applied from 5 to 20 injections of the enzyme.

Physical therapy and treatment

Physical therapy is not left out from treatment colloidal scars and based on the following directions:

  • The use of microcurrents. To do this, use special creams and gels on the basis of enzymes, which allow conducting phonophoresis and electrophoresis. As a local application tools used by the most famous ointments: Contractubex, Lioton, Dermatix.
  • The method of compression. The method of compression of the rumen by using a compressing bandage which is silicone. However, it should be noted immediately that the method is great for the young cicatrix, which was formed immediately after the injury.

In addition, we note a few interesting therapies:

  • The removal of scar by laser. This "bonding" of the small capillaries, which then will not be able to feed the rumen with blood. And in order to reduce the likelihood of recurrence the extraction takes place in combination with hormonal therapy.
  • Criodistruction. The impact of low temperature is used for almost any growths on the skin.
  • Surgical excision of the scar.

And in conclusion we can say that prevention of scarring is treatable easier and faster than working with old scars.
